Troubleshooting Wi-Fi Connectivity on iPhone 6
Step 1: Check Wi-Fi Settings
Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and ensure the Wi-Fi toggle is turned on. If you are attempting to connect to a hidden network, you will need to manually enter the network name on this screen.
Step 2: Check Battery Life
iPhone 6 has varying battery life depending on network connectivity: up to 10 hours on 3G, up to 10 hours on LTE, and up to 11 hours on Wi-Fi. If your battery is low, it may affect Wi-Fi connectivity.
Step 3: Restart Devices
Restart your iPhone 6 and your router/modem. To restart your router/modem, unplug the device and then plug it back in.
Step 4: Troubleshoot Further Issues
If you are still experiencing problems connecting to Wi-Fi, there may be other issues at play.
- Ensure you are within range of the Wi-Fi network.
- Make sure the network you are trying to connect to is not password-protected or has any special configuration requirements.
- Check for any network outages or maintenance by contacting your internet service provider.
