Early Life and Career

Mauricio Roberto Pochettino Trossero was born on March 2, 1972, in Murphy, Argentina. As a professional footballer, he played for several clubs in Argentina, Spain, and England.

Transition to Management

After retiring from playing, Pochettino began his managerial career with Newell's Old Boys in Argentina. He went on to manage Espanyol, Tottenham Hotspur, and Paris Saint-Germain before joining Chelsea Football Club in 2023.

Tenure at Chelsea

Pochettino's appointment as Chelsea manager was met with excitement, given his success at his previous clubs. However, his tenure at the London club proved to be short-lived. Chelsea struggled to perform consistently under his leadership, and they were eliminated early from the FA Cup and the Champions League.

Departure from Chelsea
