Boxing Qualifiers for Paris 2024 Olympics

Africa Qualifier Results

Eighteen boxers from eight countries secured their spots at the 2024 Paris Olympics during the Boxing Africa Qualifier held in Senegal from February 9-15.

Qualifying Pathway

The boxers qualified through a series of continental events as part of the Boxing Road to Paris qualification pathway. These events included the European Games, Asian Games, and Pan American Games.

Boxing's Olympic History

Boxing has a long history in the Olympic Games, first appearing in the Ancient Games in 688 BCE. It made its debut in the modern Olympics in St. Louis in 1904 and has been a staple event ever since.

Paris 2024 Representation

At the Paris 2024 Olympics, a total of 248 boxers will compete. Four male and four female boxers from the United States have already qualified for the Games and will be making their Olympic debuts.
