Former Arizona Cardinals and current Detroit Lions cornerback Starling Thomas V is ready to make a statement against his former team this weekend. After spending the first four years of his career in Arizona, Thomas signed with the Lions this offseason, and he's eager to show his old team how much he's grown.

Thomas Determined to Make Impact for Lions

"I'm excited to go out there and compete against my former team," Thomas said. "I have a lot of respect for the Cardinals organization, but I'm ready to show them what I can do in a different uniform. I'm confident in my abilities, and I'm ready to make a big impact for the Lions." Thomas was a key contributor to the Cardinals' defense during his time in Arizona, starting 16 games in 2021. He recorded two interceptions and 12 pass breakups that season, and he was a key part of the Cardinals' NFC West championship team.
